They say I’m mad
Like it’s a bad thing
It is how they describe
That which is different
From their own beliefs
I do believe there are those
Who suffer from illness of the mind
Do terrible or strange things
No disrespect, but
Madness reigns in their lives
When the world has lost the plot
Greed gone overboard in chaos
Resulting in unacceptable behaviours
Madness rains from all news sources
Then we are back to me
Sanity and madness in one
Perhaps a tug-o-war for control
Or not
Perhaps it’s just some fun
You may want to question who reins
In the mind of the odd and the strange
Does it matter?
