Experiencing

As the wind blows it takes with it my connection
My shackles to the rest of the world, my communication
The invisible technological string that binds me to you
Perhaps it is time to simplify my existence
Lift off the weight of earthly possessions that anchor me
Sever the ties that bind to the news of here and far off places
Take flight in this air that billows all around me
Now light enough to drift away on new adventures
A gypsy of the land and sea
Experiencing instead of having
