Push me please to propulsion
For I cannot peak to my potential
Rather plunge like a perpetual pendulum
My purpose is apparent
And yet I procrastinate aplenty
I ponder the platform of my perception
My perspective pooling muddy pictures
Of my paralyzed possibilities
And this preposterous proliferation of excuses
Does not pollinate my passion nor protect me
From a path that is preparing to bid me adieu
If I do not suppress the scepticism of myself
And proceed regardless of the panic
To perform the practise that I am meant
Not to perfection but to my happiness

The trick is learning ho to push ourselves. I’m mid-sixties and still trying to get that one down pat. 🙂
