Sharing Empathy

Tears to leak but by the drop
Faced away from prying eyes
Shadowy explorations but to try
To keep from you my blurry sight
For feelings of the water kind
Wrinkle disapproval on your smile
I cannot show them to another
Hidden in the darkest parts I find
Avoiding who would classify me
Fool, female or forever fragile
I will not bear the tag you give
No longer in the grey to lurk
Emotions are not weak to show
I’ll stand here being strong
To share my empath power
