Checks and balances are all good and well
But it’s got to have heart and soul too
This life of ours
We’re here to do a job
Or fulfil our purpose
But how about a little fun in the middle
We’re meant to enjoy our days on earth
Not just slave for the cheque at the end of the month
There’s more to life is what we always think
But how do we get the teeter-totter level
The scales to not lean to one side
How do we find that perfect sweet-spot
Where it’s not swinging out of control
It is possible to stand in harmony
Achieve equilibrium of the mind and the soul
Deal with the weights of the world
To make them nothing at all
