Winded
By sudden shock
The unexpected
A life
Taken too soon
Or was it?
Though it tears
Shreds
Your core
The thought
Of their absence
A gaping hole
That you cannot
Settle
Justify or accept
Tomorrow’s plans
Lost
Their effervescent
Glow
Turned off
Abruptly
Only a dark chasm
Consumes you
But what if…
Timing was perfect
And they are
Smiling
At you from
Their new place
In the brilliance
Of spirit
What if…
This is all perfect
What if…
You’ll see them later
