From Where it Comes

Blow the trumpets
Sound the horns
Pomp and ceremony
For the ego has arrived
Front and centre
Loud and proud
It will drown out
Humble reason
And logic
Explain you into knots
Validating its point of view
Until your head hurts
And you surrender
To its lesser knowledge
And lower energy
For this is the place
From where trouble begins
