Not Me

I agree that I’m a work in progress
Growing every day in my soul
But what I know for sure
Is that I am most certainly not

B R O K E N

Learning lessons constantly
Making different choices
Than the ones that did not work
But I can assure you that I am not

B R O K E N

I wouldn’t have a purpose
If I did not have something to learn
I would not need to be here
But I am, and most definitely not

B R O K E N

It denotes a sense of finality
No putting back together again
There is no going back or recovery
When you say that something is

B R O K E N

But that’s not me
