Searching through life
Shrouded in a mist
Of uncertain desire
What do you want?
How should I know
In the younger years?
Finding myself
Discovering who I am
How should I know
What it is that I want?
Today I think it this
Tomorrow I think it that
How should I know?
I haven’t seen enough
Experience enough
To know these things
How should I know?
When will I know?
Will I ever be sure
Questioning the Universe
How should I know?
Just when I think
That I have all the answers
I begin thinking again
How should I know?
Is there a check list
Particular steps to follow?
Have I done all of these
How should I know?
Life changes and so do you
Be flexible and always learning
But if you manage to be happy
Then you will know

I can’t tell you how many times I have tried to ask the universe some questions. I do like the ending though! 🙂

It takes time to learn how to hear the answers. I missed many only to realize later. The answer doesn’t always come in the form we expect and we often ignore it if it isn’t what we want to hear. It will happen. The Universe only wants the best for us, and sometimes that might be a difficult lesson. Thanks.
