Our roots run deep into the earth
Where we came from
They can help us to stand tall
To grow and reach for the stars
But if the roots you were born to
Are filled with rot and canker
Causing you to wilt
And buckle to the ground
Under the weight of it all
You may cut yourself free
Find fertile and nourishing soil
Plant yourself among good seeds
Ones that will provide liquid
Refreshment for your soul
And you can grow new roots
Surrounded with love,
Clean energy and encouragement
