From Different Angles

Look from the mountains,
look from the skies,
now look from the ground.
It all looks different
depending on the angle,
and how we’re taking it in.
Don’t paint the picture
in permanent ink
and be unwilling to start again,
don’t ring the final bell
on your perception of something.
Be open to seeing and understanding
from the easel or crayons of another,
a viewpoint you’ve never considered,
because the same art or situation
appears vastly altered,
when your world is upside down,
or when you’re peeking through
the perfume of a fresh bouquet
of beautiful rainbow flowers.
