I will not compromise
In the traffic that I allow
To cloud my mind
Thoughts to travel through
For the highway gets congested
And I switch lanes rapidly
From one to another
Losing focus and direction
Until it all stands still
When I can’t turn another way
I go to the silence within
Put my concentration on breathing
Make sure I suck the air deeply in
I stay a while letting thoughts pass
Until I emerge to peace
The chaos has gone by
And the roads are open again
To cruise with the natural flow
Still guardian of what I think
Officer of trust and faith
In this path that I am on
The glorious road I am travelling
