Our dreams are hung
Bodacious successes with a deadline
By this tick and by that tock
By this age and by this accomplishment
Measured and metered to fail or pass
No minutes for heads in the clouds
Imagination and creativity
Fairies and elves, merfolk, and their kin
Only straight lines and squares
No waves of fantasy and fiction
To tow the money line
The force and the stress to comply
Killing more creations and souls
In the silence of expression
