Moon Phasing

A tug-o-war between you and I
For control of my volatile emotions
Your hands unseen but the energy potent
That at first I do not know who I am fighting
Is it you that I struggle against
Or indeed myself that I try to beat
For these feelings come from within
And your full golden glow or complete darkness
Highlights what was always there
Pulling the suppressed to the surface
A reminder that I need to deal
And to battle for control
The best method of avoidance
An invisible battle with the vibrant or hidden
A battle with my own me
