On the edge of my lips always ready to tip
So much great advice in the world
Freely offered most abundantly
From the left, and the right, and down the middle
Bombarded with different versions
And sometimes complete opposite words of wisdom
And often I am wondering and contemplating
How should I implement the ones that make sense?
How do I follow the words of the sages?
How will I ever learn to discern the right way to go?
Perhaps my head should be quiet
And I’ll decide with my gut
