Have I missed it
The twinkling star
To set my wishes on
I look up
But all I can see right now
Are thick misty clouds
Of troubles all around
Difficulties stealing my air
Choking out the hope
All any little moonlight
That might have come my way
Because all that I can see
Is the very black darkness
And I am only a shadow
Of who I want to be
When I focus on the lack of light
And create more darkness for myself
