In the hush of a sleeping forest
Only broken by the whisper of lapping water
And the crumble of autumn’s fiery leaves
Beneath my wandering, ambling feet
Beguiled by the beauty of majestic trees
For hours in the beating of my own heart
Guarded and guided by these healers
To explore my meaning and my life
In the complex layers of this forest floor
