Written on the wall
I ignored the answers
For empathy and sympathy
I continued to plead
To be told what to do
And still I would not hear
For sometimes you just need
A clean slate and new start
To unpack the baggage you carry
And leave it behind
To continue with what is best
What is for YOUR highest cause
Because this life that you are living
Was given to YOU and nobody else
It is yours to be enjoyed and to learn
YOURS to make with all that you can
It is YOURS and you have the right
To make it all that you wish
To travel with those who make it light
Who support and encourage you
So feel free to go it alone for a while
If that is what your soul requires
For silence holds many replies too
