I’m revisiting 22 years ago
When we said our I dos
22 years ago, today
When I married my soul mate
The best thing that I decided to do
To spend the rest of my life
Being loved and adored
And loving as much right back
22 years have flown by
It sounds like such a lot
Reviewing where we have been
And where we are now
Our beautiful family and us
22 years is a drop in the ocean
For I want more of these years to come
To grow and learn and adventure together
Have new experiences and enjoy the old
22 years later
And only now am I documenting that day
In a scrapbook of beautiful memories
For our children and grandchildren one day
May they see the love in our eyes
And care and adoration in our consideration
For one another
As we vowed love for the rest of our lives
And I’ve gratefully lived by your side thus far
Onward and upward happy to love you
And be loved by you
The extra additive to my heart
