Incomplete Laziness

In the mayhem of my life
The remains of my unproductive day
Lie shredded on the floor of sadness
From the choir of accused laziness
Depression rises like a dust cloud
To hover heavy over my existence
Lost to the understanding of the reason
Until realization strikes a melancholy chord
And the chorus of idleness repeats again
For the lack of any kind of achievement
No matter how miniscule or small
Magnifies to complete inertia and effort
Compounds in the mind and makes it so
In the tangle of many unfinished strings
But all begun
I cannot find solace nor absolution
From the feeling of failure
At the tail of numerous incompletes

    1. Isn’t it the pits? Then I wonder why I’m feeling down, only to realize that it is because I feel like I’m not accomplishing anything. Oh that wonderful burst of endorphins when I finish something. Focus, focus, focus.

Have an amazing day with hopefully one completed task to make you feel fantastic.
