Meditating My Shadows

From my glowing white crown
To the furthest tip of my toes
I dust the cobwebs and gather the shadows
From every corner and fold
I shepherd the darkness
Down
Down
Down
Suck air deeply to my squeezing lungs
To push and usher the sludge along
Before I enter to the depths
I ask Gaia mother of this earth
That I may deposit these toxins
That weigh and slow me down
Into the loving grains of her core
To transmute the waste that I dump
Let the fester of the refuse degrade
To metamorphose to the richest compost
That will feed my fantastical growth
To bloom from light that she gives
Absorb the nutrients she offers back
And radiate lighter and free
