Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “least-favorite word.” Use your least-favorite word in your post. If you can’t decide on one, use a word that just really bugs you. Enjoy!
I avoid it like the plague
Not because my problem is that great
But rather because I know that
The love of my life can’t stand it
Doesn’t believe it is a word to ever be used
So I’ll tell you to have an
Amazing
Fantastic
Wonderful
Fabulous
Magical
Glorious
Day
But I will never ever tell you to have an
Awesome day
No, not me
I do not know exactly what it is about the word
That grates him so
But I have adopted the ban on this description
In favour of others that don’t cause friction on a nerve
And in light of a tough week that has gone by
I will wish all peace and tranquillity
And a most beautiful and blessed kind of day

Lots of words can be overused. I wonder if I use wonderful too much. But I guess if I am filled with wonder it would be okay, like if I were filled with awe, …. 🙂 Have a great weekend!

Because my writing software picks up repeats and the number of times you use a word, I have become aware of it and try vary them. When I started writing I was amazed how much I used that and so. 🤣🤦♀️😝 Have a super day.

Interesting. I don’t think I’ve ever had to ban a word from my vocabulary because of someone I love. But I would!

He would cringe if I said it 🤣. I love words, so for me to use alternatives is fun. Have a smashing day. 😁

My cousin in USA uses the word a lot. But I have not heard people using it here much. Nice post😊

Thank you. In South Africa I’ve noticed it has gained popularity among the younger generations. Have a splendid day.
