Growing Into My Skin

A peanut hidden in its shell
In a corner of the whole
Rattling within the vacant space
Growing, expanding and maturing
Into the skin and case that surrounds
Becoming the skin
Becoming the case
Being the whole
Scratched beneath the surface
Grown into the flesh and bone
Aware, awake and free
At peace with me
Blissful in myself
What I always was
