Do words slip from my grasp
Never to be retrieved
In fathomable form again
Coherent sentences
Play in grey passages
Wonder forgotten corridors
Yet I cannot put them forth
To the talent of my tongue
No longer being able
To form them into comprehension
That another’s mind
Can hear my locked-up thoughts
I slowly fade into oblivion
A blubbering noise turned silent
Burden lost to the world
Still needing general maintenance
But no longer present
These diseases of the mind
Widowmakers while still living
Wily in their gradual theft
And little changes
That allow a check-out
Before leaving this world
