I would have you gobsmacked
At the mercurial creature I have become
You wouldn’t recognize me from my youth
The easy-going nature now unseen to many
Moods like the thermometer of winter to summer
In the space of but a blink of an eye
For I no longer allow my time to be wasted
By the hoarders of my attention and listening
Giving nothing back in reciprocal return
And leaving me empty and bereft
With the amount of energy they require
Sucked dry like the last oasis of a desert
With age grows wisdom and respect
And I have both in abundance for myself
The people-pleasing doormat morphed
Into a woman of opinion and decisiveness
Only found to be rude by those that no longer get
All that they were taking and taking for granted
Throughout the many, many years
Happy to stay around someone delivering to their needs
Too hollowed out and uncertain of herself
To think that she should come first
I’m not sorry that you dislike this new person that you see
But finally she’s stepped up to the challenge plate
And become the rockstar that I’d always sought in others
Denying her grand existence inside myself
In favour of awe for the light you shone upon yourself
But this is where I think our paths will now diverge
For I no longer serve your purposes
And you never intended to contribute a dash to mine

Woo-Hoo!! Finale!
And what a finale it is, too! Love your positive, self-affirmations throughout, and especially your closing 3 lines. Salute!
(Friendly proofreader note (typo?): Penultimate line; should that say “I no longer serve”?)
