Life isn’t a monotonous melody
It’s a heart-felt cowboy’s song
With a meaningful story in the words
Well-worn dusty boots on
Travelled through rivers of tears
Hot burning deserts of nothing but sand
And forests of love, laughter and happiness
Learning to pick travelling companions
That add richness to the tones and days
And write them straight onto the heart
With good intentions and affection
Creating warm vibrations in the tune
And adding more memorable miles
To the soles of those adventurous shoes

I can imagine this being sung to country music. Great poem, Debbie.

What a beauty Debbie. So love it. The last lines
“And adding more memorable miles
To the soles of those adventurous shoes” are my favourites. Thanks for joining in 🙂 🙂
