Her eagle-eye upon it all
Pedantic to the detail
As the long shadows creep
Across the rolling moor
Painted purple tufts
And dancing grasses short
In front of burning skies
Musky wooded scents
Waft the fading warmth
Tired souls come to rest
In Mother Nature’s artwork
To quench the fires
Of the modern world’s chaos
And sup on peace and calm
Of air so fresh
And land so green
Her bounties but a call
To sink right into
Become another boulder
Embedded in the quiet
Of nirvana’s lacking walls
