Living

Earth turn
Moon shine
Sun burn
Birth
And death
Life goes on
Step
by
Step
Forward march
Sometimes crawl
Sometimes stall
Sometimes not at all
An abrupt halt
An about turn
A new path
Happy
Sad
Excited
Varied days
Breathing, feeling, doing
No substitute
‘til we take the bow
When the job is done
Until then
We’ll soldier on
Strive to enjoy
Our days
And nights
On the turning Earth
