Though we watch the same screen
We see different things
Tainted by our opinions
Painted with our beliefs
In the shadows of our fears
Nothing is exactly the same
You see a cute little furry mouse
And I see a germ carrying rodent
And the other guy sees food for the owls
So then should we roar in disagreement
And attempt to convince of our right
Display our prowess at persuasion
What shall we do?
Who will wear the crown?
They who shout the loudest
They who win others over
Or those who try to see the various pictures
And accept the differences gracefully

Its amazing how many different ways people can view the same thing isn’t it?
Great poem, Debbie.

Yes it is. Now if only so many people weren’t desperate for their view to be the only ‘right’ one. Thanks Mason. Have a fantastic day.

First we must recognize that others don’t see the world in the same way that we do. Then we must learn to appreciate the different perspectives, even if we don’t accept them. Great poem.
