Those Days

Twinkling toes pirouetting down sun beams
Glistening dew drops on fingertips
Thunderstorms brewing in the afternoon pot
These are the things of Summer fun
Holidays, family and cool waters
Frosty orbs made on clouds high
Hailing down, below the resting heat
Fleeting days of our life disappearing
Until we’re too busy to enjoy them
Childhood shenanigans long forgot
