Sucked into the void
She has disappeared
The exuberant energy
Bubbly light in the room
Has fallen into the darkness
No one thing pushed her
More like the shadows
Kept a tether attached
And pulled constantly
Strength to challenge it
Ebbed away
The crushed chest more frequent
Hiding in solitude
The qi slipping
From her desperate clutches
For meaning and identity
The reason to breathe
No longer clear
The effort becoming too much
If only she would reach out
She’d find many hands
