Supporting Imagination

At the midnight hour
In the shadows with bats
You dive on my ideas
Though they might be outlandish
Many a thing created
Was once far out of the lines
Of a neat little box of sane thought
You might leave me in the dark
But the magical full moon
Illuminates what I’ve put forth
Accepts my offerings as possible
The support that I need
You’re welcome to try out as my sun
To let my night become dawn
And boost my faith
To give me confidence
To make it all so
