Can We ALL Be Strong

Bricks build a house
But life’s a glass castle
Fragile blocks stacked
Gossamer thread
Threatening disintegration
With each addition
Each subtraction
Reallocation of resources
The balance ready to topple
With the slightest breeze
Allegations of organization
The sign of a good bluff
For it’s a perilous game of Jenga
That we participate in each day
Afraid to show our weaknesses
Too scared of judgement to ask for help
If only we could reassure each other
That we are all here to lend a hand
And not a wagging tongue
Imagine the strength that we could build
All of us strong
