Live a Full Life

It is not the purpose of life
The prize at the end of the day
Carrot on a stick we’re heading for
This is not what is meant to be
Every day, every breath
Is the music by which we live
Each move our living dance
To savour and nourish our cells
Light the candle within our souls
Build a bank of memories
Fit for the most beautiful scrapbook
Of a rich and well lived life
That when we circle the drain
Of this existence
We exit with a smile in our bones
For the air pulled deep into our lungs
That our wings be ready to fly
