Spherical blob of coiled up angst
Curled tightly in foetal pose
Wishing for the protective sac
Amniotic swimming pool
Of oblivious cushioned security
World unknown to the body
Inward spasm of contortion
To close all external entry
To sound and news and all
Facetious slips of the tongue
Have lost their humour
Amid the falling debris
Fernweh further than the galaxy
Longing to take the spirit
To the healing darkness
Beyond this earth
Float in splendorous suspension
That magic may repair
What man and the world
Has bound and balled up tight
