To Shine Again

Still travelling through the stars
Our journey of infinite light
A supernova shot into flame
Until it all went very dark
Burnt out from a lack of trying
Resignation that the best has been
But I still float in the galaxy
No longer grounded by you
Loose in the realm of magic
Still enjoying the wonder
Of fantastical possibility
Learning to shine again
