Silent Communication

I didn’t know that my voice could carry
Carry far over the mountains green
I didn’t know that my love could reach you
Way over on the other side
But It wasn’t words that made their way
To the beating rhythm of your heart
It wasn’t the waves of my sound
That carried on the wind to your ears
I sent you a thought from my mind
Sang you this song in silence out loud
I didn’t know that my voice could carry
Carry far over the mountains green
I didn’t know that my love could reach you
Way over on the other side
It was the melody of my emotions
That vibrated its energy on the breeze
It was the intensity of my intentions
That stroked your cheek through the miles
For no matter what logic told you
You knew that it was me there with you
It wasn’t my physical sight that appeared
But my heart that spoke softly to you
My heart that crooned sweet music
Music that brought you back to me
I didn’t know that my voice could carry
Carry far over the mountains green
I didn’t know that my love could reach you

Now I know you got my message
You heard me loud and clear
Because you came back to me
The very first chance you got
