Don’t spin me a yarn
I can read a book for that
Don’t tell me untruths
I am undeserving of that
The sun has gone down
On my tolerance for disrespect
There is a curfew in place
For taking advantage of me
The time has way passed
Where I’m accepting of that
These are the hours
Such behaviour is confined
For permanent exclusion
From our interactions
Because I have learnt
To believe in myself
Found the salt of my worth
And sprinkle liberally
