Lovebirds take flight
Wing to wing support
But still each fly
Independent but united
Don’t get lost in the other
Still one in the two

No surrender of identity
The bolt that joins
Is honest and true
Never possessive
Or limiting
Still one in the two
Joyfully uplifting
For lovebirds
Fly together
But each flaps
