I lay in your light
Collapsed by the ravages
The world has inflicted
On my sensitivities
Exhausted by feeling
Overwhelmed
Fullness of your swell
My beacon of hope
I recharge in your glow
Launch my ship again
Energized to continue
But stepped into
A moonlight bubble
Protection
Against the cake
Of sad news
Around my fragile heart
