Game of Life

Life is a gamble
Love and relationships
Breathing and feeling
A heartbeat of sceptics
From the pedestrian day
To the wild science-fic
It’s a ball of energy
That we sometimes
Wish to bounce
To unwind and understand
Or to leave lying still
Ignore behind closed eyes
For the unravelling is long
The bounce unpredictable
For this we’re not strong
Exhausted by the sap of fear
By uncharted trajectory
We’ve lost the fun of the game
But in the hands of a child
We’ll smile once more
Be the child
Be the ball
Play once more
