Touched by Sunbeams

Delicate sunbeam
Mother’s filigree
Vitality dependent
Touching now gently
The forehead
Of the yet untouched
Shed the grey cloak
Of human want
Magic revealed
Of regeneration
Just given a chance
Or taken by force
