Dark side of the moon
The beautiful mother
We are each made
Of the yin and the yang
Complete in our own
Various colours
The myth of perfection
Spread out before us
A goal to be achieved
An outright painted lie
Our resilience of spirit
When we don’t measure up
To societies deceptions
Of the ideal
The greatest accomplishment
When we stand back up
Weird and wonderful
