Prisoner of Doubt

Place her in your corner
And she’ll stay there
For this salient being
Knows not her value
Doesn’t believe her worth
Happily takes the scraps
That anyone offers
And gives all of herself
As subservient subject
Intended or not
You’ll take advantage
Because she will allow it
Encourage it often
In the gifts of sacrifice
You’ll never have it better
Until she learns
How important she is
Then you’ll have an exciting challenge
No longer hiding
Behind the moustache of her hand
Confident to have her say
Proud to be her
It is the how, that she is struggling with
Deleting the old program
And installing something new
Help her
Don’t keep her prisoner
To her own doubts

      1. I know Debbie. There are people who prey on innocence and kindness.
Pleasing people is a good characteristic. They just have to learn to protect themselves with out sacrificing the goodness in themselves.
