Sliding the Rainbow of Life

A potion of emotion
Mix at your peril
A tear of sadness
A glimpse of joy
A spasm of fear
A bubble of excitement
A heartbeat of anticipation
A gut of dread
A ball of nerves
All of these things
Contained in one vessel
The body transporting a soul
Changing aura
Of blue
Of red
Of green
Of gold
Of glitter
Of rainbow
Of sparkling light
Possibility
Hope
Quitting
Resigned
The dark side
The light
Heads
And tails
Both sides of the same coin
Complex and complicated
This human form
This existence
But filled with adventure
Experiences
And lessons
This rainbow of life
To the pot of gold
Right at the end
The pleasure of having lived
Do it!
