Walking on Fog Clouds

When the scales are unbalanced
And worry is a heavy weight
The heart pumps through mud
Chambers echo in the emptiness
A rash of troubles bumps your skin
All the world seems grey and dim
Step onto the clouds of polluting fog
For a change in perspective
Of this life of demoralizing woe
Catch the joy from a different angle
Change the lenses you’re looking through
And just remind yourself of the gifts
That lay beneath the haze
Gratitude shown for every little one
Will raise you closer to happiness
