Locked in Multiplying Misery

Ponder to the marrow of the bone
Roaming vast arteries of emotion
Sadness bleeding into the eyes
I wonder through this baffled maze
Determined not to inflict
My mysterious misery upon the world
For out of nothing brews my melancholy
Hard as hell to hide away
Even more difficult to explain
I cannot be exactly precise to you
From whence this darkness came
But destruction is its main game
Hellbent on sabotage of self
A war of will and care and apathy
I know no more of where to go
Or what to do to love myself
Only loathed at what I see and do
Misery multiplied by more than two

    1. Thank you. Yes, that darkness that either just creeps in or suddenly descends without a clear rhyme or reason and eats on you from the inside in small painful bites.
Be strong and look for the light.
      Appreciate the feedback.
