They flew the flags of their heart half-mast
She was their leader, their true north
Their home, even after they had moved out
She had decorated life with vibrancy
Of love, laughter and unbreakable energy
Her magical aura infecting all who came near
They paid great honour to her memory
By becoming and remaining the amazing adults
That she had constantly taught them to be
The recollection of her spirit immortalized
By their success and achievements
By the mere character of their being
