Prescription for Complicated Actions

The face of anguish
Embellished with a smile
Hid behind the mask
The pretence of days
Doctor ordered
Best course of treatment
To just be
A simple prescription
Of complicated actions
The unlearning
Of a front for all to see
Emotions disguised
To protect the offended
Anger held in
The true me
A metamorphosis to behold
