Dulled Vision

Sparkle worn off
The wonder of the world
Magic, a dismissed memory
Faded with childhood
Dull, jaded eyes bleak
Conceal golden soul’s glow
Reflected in the shining moon
Pulling at an authentic core
To be revealed from beneath
The rubble of constructed reality
Tarnish life unconsciously absorbed
From the drama told repeat
It has come time to disappear
Soak in glittered rain
Diamonds glisten to see
Bright with youthful gust
Belief in untold imaginings
